Ramune'~ Well, you know Jack's around,

and Alex is getting suspicious. Have you

met the Sorceress?

Elly~ ?? I've only met Jack.

Ramune'~ Well, she cursed Lexi just as the 

 betrothal was to be announced, somehow shoving

her into a boy's body, someone who lived far far

away. Lexi has no memories of her former life,

but the trauma causes nightmares, plus body/mind switches.

...and somehow I got swept up into the 

 conspiracy, so Niharika, the Sorceress, has me

monitoring the spell's effects and trying to keep 

Alex somewhat happy so the switch doesn't happen.

Elly~ Ohh! That's stressful! Is she evil then?

Ramune'~ You could say that. I don't know

what will happen to me if the spell breaks.

Elly~ It would be so romantic... I'll help

figure out something.

Maybe we could disguise you until the Sorceress

 

goes away.

If only Jack hadn't been such a good detective.
